Your journey starts
in three steps.

Everything you need is in the full client. Start fresh — no old patches or separate server files required.

  1. 01

    Download & extract

    Download the complete archive and extract it into a new, empty folder. Do not launch the game from inside the archive.

  2. 02

    Open Ascension

    Open L2CraftWorld Ascension and double-click Ascension.exe. Allow Windows permission if prompted.

  3. 03

    Enter the world

    Log in with your own Ascension account, select the server and choose your character. New accounts are created at first login.

Always start with Ascension.exe. The connection runs in the background. There is no black window to keep open.

A little guidance.

Can I use my old H5 client?

Use the full Ascension client in a fresh folder. Do not combine it with the existing L2CraftWorld H5 client, an old patch or another server’s files. Your Ascension and H5 installations can be kept in separate folders.

Which file should I start?

Start Ascension.exe in the main client folder. Do not start L2.exe directly from the system folder. You can create a desktop shortcut to Ascension.exe.

What if I get stuck at “Logging in”?

Close the game and older launchers, then start Ascension.exe again. Make sure the full client was extracted into a fresh folder. If you need help, send Online-connection.log from the client folder to the server administrator. Never share your game password.

Where is my original L2CraftWorld H5 server?

The existing H5 server keeps its own website and client. Return to the H5 website →
