L2CRAFTWORLD ASCENSION - ONLINE PLAYER CLIENT

HOW TO START
1. Extract L2CraftWorld-Ascension.rar completely to a folder on your PC.
   Do not run the game from inside WinRAR or another archive program.
2. Open the extracted L2CraftWorld Ascension folder.
3. Double-click Ascension.exe.
   START-ASCENSION.cmd starts the same launcher and may also be used.
4. If Windows asks for permission to start the game, allow it.
5. Log in with your own game account, select the server and choose your character.

The connection runs in the background. There is no black console window to keep
open. The background connection stops automatically shortly after the game exits.
You can create a desktop shortcut to Ascension.exe.

IMPORTANT
- Keep the entire L2CraftWorld Ascension folder together, including its system folder.
- Always use Ascension.exe. Do not start system/L2.exe directly.
- Use this complete client in a fresh folder. Do not mix it with an old client,
  another server patch, or a different High Five client.
- No Java, database or game server installation is required on a player's PC.
- No server passwords or saved player accounts are included.
- Close old Ascension launchers or local login servers before starting.
- After closing the game, wait about 10 seconds before starting it again.

IF YOU CANNOT CONNECT
Check that your internet connection works and the server is online.
Start Ascension.exe from the extracted client folder.
The launcher creates Online-connection.log in this folder. Send that file to the
server administrator if you need help. It contains connection diagnostics,
not game passwords or message contents. Do not send your account password.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Client protocol: 447. Online login server: 82.165.69.50:2107.
Gameplay uses port 7778. The launcher listens only on your own PC at
127.0.0.1:2106 and forwards login traffic to the online login server.
Do not change L2.ini or copy connection files from another client.
